Privacy policy

Watch Winder does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your own devices.

The app

• Your watches, photos and history are stored on your iPhone or iPad, inside the app's own storage. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
• Apple Watch. Your iPhone sends watch details and small photo thumbnails directly to your paired Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity. This data doesn't pass through our servers; we don't have any.
• Reminders are scheduled locally with iOS notifications. No push notification service is involved.
• Camera and photos. The app asks for camera access only when you choose to photograph a watch. Photos you pick or take are stored with that watch on your device.
• Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app only receives the action, such as marking a watch as wound.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs are included. We do not know who uses the app or how.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Your data is included in your normal iCloud or computer backup of your device, under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes its data.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
